Astounding Giant’s Causeway

Giants Causeway basalt columns

The way these 40,000 amazing interlocking basalt columns were made is explained with the legend of the giant Finn McCool – Finn tore up chunks of the Antrim coastline and threw them into the sea to make a path to meet the Scottish giant Benandonner who had challenged him to a fight. Now when Finn saw the size of the Scottish giant he ran back home and his wife hid him, disguised as a baby. The Scottish giant looking for Finn and when he saw the size of the “baby” he figured Finn was a GIANT of giants! He fled in fear back to Scotland, destroying the causeway behind him. And so, the myth of The Giant’s Causeway was born!

Twenty years from now you’ll be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
